St. Joseph’s Secondary School was founded in 1993 as a professional institution under the management of the Gwendolyn Memorial Education Society. It is governed by a Board consisting of eight members, including Mrs. Beula Gabriel, who is also the principal of the school.
Mrs. Gabriel has over forty-five years of experience in education, including thirty-five years as headmistress or principal. She has been responsible for founding several schools, as well as providing guidance to several local schools, including. She also served as principal of Vidya Devi Jindal Residential School for five years, and HMT School for seven years. Prior to that, she worked as a lecturer at Jesus and Mary College,New Delhi.
